Who are we?
At the Endeavour Teaching School Alliance, we believe that all children have the right to an exceptional educational experience. We work together collaboratively to develop teachers and leaders to fulfil this mission. Designated as a National Teaching School in 2013, we are at the heart of a self-improving, school-led system designing and delivering bespoke training and support.
Our School Direct Initial Teacher Training programme is run out of a number of ‘hub’ locations, combing the best of ‘on the job’ training with academic rigour and high quality support.
We place great emphasis on the practicality and relevance of our professional and leadership development pathways. From our Newly Qualified Teacher Induction programme and our specially designed Towards Excellence courses, to our range of NPQ Leadership programmes, we provide a comprehensive professional development offer. Furthermore, our Specialist Leaders of Education and senior teachers design and implement tailored support packages for schools in a wide variety of areas.
We are a national partnership of schools, working strategically with schools to share and develop excellent teaching and leadership, which is rooted in evidence-based practice. We are committed to learning from each other and creating a sustainable impact on the quality of learning for all children. Our work focuses on the core strands of the Teaching School remit, which is to develop:
- School based Initial Teacher Training
- Continuing Professional Learning and Development for teachers and leaders
- School to school support, including the deployment of Specialist Leaders of Education
We work with a range of schools and delivery partners, recognising the importance of identifying and sharing best practice across a range of schools and systems.
We believe that all children have the right to an exceptional educational experience. We strive to work together to continually develop teachers and leaders to fulfil this mission.
